On the afternoon of May 7, 2019, higher education delegation of Republic of Malawi,led by Dr. Billy Gama, who is Committee Chairman（deputy ministerial level）of Malawi university, visited China-Africa Institute. Associate Researcher Liu Naiya of China-Africa Institute hosted this meeting activity, and researchers including Li Zhibiao, Yao Guimei, Zhang Yongpeng, Zhu Weidong, Zhang Bo, Meng Jin, Zhao Yating, Liu Linzhi and etc, attended the symposium. Associate Researcher Liu Naiya delivered welcome speech and presented the promotional video of China-Africa Institute to the foreign guests. Subsequently, Associate Researcher Liu Naiya introduced the basic situation of the Institute of West-Asian and African Studies (IWAAS) and China-Africa Institute to the Malawian guests, as well as current research situation and plans. Billy Gama Chairman expressed thanks to the reception of China-Africa Institute and introduced their delegation. Later on, both sides made discussions about China-Africa and China-Malawi relations and cooperation on education and researches. Both sides have consensus on deepening education cooperation between China-Africa Institute and Malawi.
