Students from the Workshop of Experts on Chinese Studies from the Belt and Road Initiative Partner Countries Visited China-Africa Institute

  On the afternoon of July 16, 2019, more than twenty students from the workshop of experts on Chinese studies from the Belt and Road Initiative partner countries visited China-Africa Institute, and made the exchange with the experts and scholars from China-Africa Institute.  The scholars from both sides discussed the issues of common concern, such as environmental protection, technology transfer, China’s assistance to Africa, China-Africa cooperation and the construction of African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

  Researcher Li Zhibiao said that the Chinese government encourages the Chinese enterprises in Africa to provide assistance to African countries who hope to bring in the Chinese technology.  As for the training issue of human resources in Nigeria, Researcher Zhang Yongpeng pointed out that the training of African human resources was held by Western countries before, and now China is also doing more on China-Africa human resources training cooperation.
