On September 11, Samuel，ambassador Counselor of the Ethiopian Embassy in China visited the CAI. Li Xinfeng, executive vice President of the CAI, Liu Naiya, Director of the Social and Cultural Research division, Shen Xiaolei, Deputy director of the Political Research division, Cheng Hong, director of the research management division and other scholars attended the symposium.

Li Xinfeng，on behalf of the CAI, extended welcome to Counsellor Samuel for his visit and introduced the relevant situation of the CAI. Samuel congratulated China on the achievements made in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, and was pleased to have the opportunity to communicate with scholars from the CAI.

The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the history of friendship between China and Ethiopia, cooperation practices and cooperation prospects in various fields between the two countries. The two sides expressed that they will further deepen cultural exchanges and cooperation in the future and jointly promote the development of friendly relations between China and Ethiopia.
