China-South Africa youth participation in social development mechanism and tendency

  1. The background of the project

  China-Africa relations have entered a new stage of all-round development. The positive and enterprising spirit of Chinese and African youth has become the most brilliant youth color in the construction of China-Africa destiny community. In the context of the establishment of China-Africa Communities of Destiny, let the achievements of China-Africa friendly cooperation benefit the young people of China and Africa, especially the young people of Africa, provide the most direct and sustainable impetus for Africa's development and help Africa realize modernization.

  2. Significance

  Youth research, especially the study of the Chinese and African youth working together to build a community of destiny in China and Africa, has important practical, theoretical and practical significance. In-depth implementation of the achievements of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation can’t be separated from the understanding of African youth. This research has important international significance. Through this research, we can better understand African youth groups, outline the current situation and outlook of African youth, and play an important role in promoting youth exchanges between China and Africa and further expanding the field and depth of African research.

  3. Thoughts, Framework

  In this study, from the perspective of sociology, law, management, policy science, country studies and other interdisciplinary research, the policy mechanism of youth development in China and South Africa is analyzed.

  First, through text analysis and literature search, the data are sorted out.

  Secondly, first-hand data on youth development are obtained from major official institutions and think tanks.

  Thirdly, field investigation is conducted to collect first-hand perceptual and empirical data for analysis.
