Abstract: The recent political crisis emerged in Kenya and Zimbabwe has attracted widespread attention from international community, and the similar hidden crisis are in fact buried in many African countries and behind this lie the economic and social crisis. Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa, Algeria and Angola are currently the five largest economies in Africa, and they are also very important cooperation partners for China to promote the building of the Belt and Road. Affected by continuous decline of global commodity prices in recent years, the five countries are equally challenged by economic, social and political crisis to varying degrees, and Chinese investors should give special attention to them in order to avoid risks and achieve win-win result.
