Wang Jian, graduated from History Department of Peking University in 1987, and then have been working in West-Asian and African Studies (IWAAS), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). 1987—2001,worked in Editorial Division of West Asia and Africa. Since 2001, being an associate professor in Division of International Relation Studies, IWAAS.
